About the baker, Adeline Tan
of Sugar & Crumbs
Throughout my growing up years I have never baked or tried my hands on baking. In fact, I hardly even stepped into the kitchen to cook let alone bake.
My interest and passion for baking came about back in the year 2010 when I quit my full-time job. As I needed a break from employment after having worked for the past 14 years. During this period I had lots of free time and that’s when I decided to try my hands on baking.
It was during this time that I realized I do like to bake and love to explore and try out new simple recipes from books, websites and friends. At times, I might even try to either add/change certain ingredients in a recipe for the fun of it and see how the baked goods will turn out.
From then on I realised my passion for baking as I like to bake for my family & friends. I would now like to share it with others and hope they will enjoy it as well.
